The United States adopted their own version of roulette, but the French version is still played time to time in Las Vegas. (We assume it's offered at the Paris casino, because Roulette comes from France, after all. Roulette chips have no value at
other tables. A player may bet on an entire row, with a return of 11:1, by placing one or more chips over the edge of the first number in the row, or on two rows at 5:1. The larges payoff odds, 35:1, are on bets on a single number. The green
slots (zero) in roulette are where casinos make their money. Before you get confused, standard
American roulette rules have the table use different chips than other table
games at the same casino. In effect, this variation has the ability to turn a loss into a tie. Roulette is a game of chance and consists of a Roulette wheel and table. Only one of those numbers will win, and will pay 35 to 1, so you'll get back $360 (the $350 you won plus your original $10 bet on that number) Roulette players can bet on one, two, three, four or six numbers; or they can choose to bet red or black; high or low; odd or even. Roulette translated literally means "small wheel" and is one of the oldest casino games played today. The croupier spins the wheel, which has 38 slots, numbered from 1 to 36 with the additional slots 0 and 00. The difference between the true odds and what they actually pay you is 2/38, or 5.26%. Roulette uses a special wheel, a betting layout, and chips. Single numbers pay the highest, while either/or bets are lowest. When the wheel slows down and the ball drops into one of the
numbered slots, the dealer places a marker on the winning number on the Roulette
table. The European wheel has a lower house edge (2.63%) because it has only 37 slots instead of 38 (no 00) The wheel determines the outcome of a roulette game. You usually find most tables in Las Vegas with a minimum bet of $1 -
$3. You should remember to exchange the colored non-value Roulette chips for valued gaming chips prior to leaving a particular Roulette table. Never ever make the 5-number bet. Try to find a European wheel with the Single 0 (no 00) Every roulette player has different colored chips for easier identifying. A European roulette wheel has
the numbers 1-36, plus a slot for zero. Of course, if you lose the second spin, you do lose your bet. The
Roulette wheel has numbered pockets ranging from 00 to 36. (If you don't believe me start flipping a coin and notice that after three heads, you're equally likely to get heads as tails on the next flip. The dealer spins the roulette wheel in one direction and the small ball in the opposite one. Roulette is a game of pure chance and each single spin is unrelated to any previous spins. Roulette was developed around the turn of the century and is one of the most
popular gambling games in the world. Roulette does not move at a quick pace, it is for a more relaxed crowd than you are likely to find at the
craps table. Outside bet options include betting red, black, even, odd, low, high or selected thirds of numbers. Once the bets have been placed on the table, the wheel is set to start spinning
and a small - usually metal or ivory - ball is spun onto the wheel in the
opposite direction to that of the spinning wheel. Roulette uses a special wheel, a betting layout, and chips. The main goal of the Roulette is to bet on the
slot where the roulette ball falls. The last time we checked, Single 0 Roulette was available at the Stratosphere and the Monte Carlo on the Vegas Strip.

In roulette everything depends on chance. Trying to keep the house edge to a minimum is almost all you can do from a strategic point of view. Casinos often have special rules which directly affect on the edge.
The first strategy in roulette is the 'surrender' option. In Roulette, this rule applies to outside bets which pay even money only, such as odd/even, red/black, and high/low. If the balls lands on the 0 or the 00 you only lose half your bet, rather than the whole betting. The house edge considerably depends on this;after all it is the 0 and 00 which account for the high house edge in the first place. Of course, the payoffs aren't as great for outside bets, but simply by finding a table with the surrender' rule, you are improving your odds substantially.
Rather interesting point is the 0 and 00. It is better that you look for tables with only one 0 - European tables. Primarily found in Europe, these tables offer a much more attractive house edge from the player's point of view. With a European table to play on you are reducing the house edge from 5. 26 percent to 2. 7 percent. Physically European roulette tables are found more often in Europe, but in the online world gambling they are just a click away.
