Roulette chips have no value at other tables. Most casinos have 00 on their wheels to increase the odds to their advantage (American Roulette) The dealer spins a small ball in the opposite direction of the spinning roulette wheel. Here's another way to look at it: Let's say you bet $10 on every number one bet on each of the 38 spots. You don't get paid for the win, though, but it's better than losing it outright. Only one of those numbers will win, and will pay 35 to 1, so you'll get back $360 (the $350 you won plus your original $10 bet on that number) The main goal of the roulette is to bet on the slot where the roulette ball falls. Once the bets are placed on the table, a small ball is released on to the spinning Roulette wheel, in the opposite direction to the spin. Players are allowed to continue placng their bets during the spin until the dealer says "No more bets". Winning bets are determined by the numbered slot in which the ball comes to rest. Roulette is a banking game: all bets are placed against the house. The wheel consists 38 compartments with numbers from 1 to 36, which are colored black and red, and two green compartments with 0 and 00. However, if the dreaded 00 is spun, the House (the casino) keeps all the bets. When you get your roulette chips they will not be marked with a denomination, you choose it, and all of the chips will reflect that worth - the dealer keeps track of that by associating the amount and color with a 'lammer'. Roulette is a very easy to learn and really exciting game. When the wheel slows down and the ball drops into one of the numbered slots, the dealer places a marker on the winning number on the Roulette table. Outside bet options include betting red, black, even, odd, low, high or selected thirds of numbers. One of the thing you should know about roulette is how the table minimum works. The last time we checked (12-00), single Roulette was available at the Stratosphere and Monte Carlo (and probably Paris) Playing roulette you should give some indication to the dealer as to what value of chip denomination you prefer to be provided with. The zero and double zero numbers are in green and on opposite sides of the wheel, the colors and odd/even numbers alternate, and the numbers themselves are randomly distributed. Casino players can bet on one, two, three, four or six numbers; or they can choose to bet red or black; high or low; odd or even. - There are 2 types of roulette, American and French (a. The wheel is divided into 38 (American) or 37 (European) sections, each of which has walls to hold a small ball where it lands after the wheel is spun. Traditionally roulette has been played in regular offline casinos. Roulette is played on a table featuring a betting area and the roulette wheel. The odds on roulette are at least five times worse than baccarat, blackjack, or craps, but it's played much slower so your expected loss is about the same. Roulette is somewhat unique amongst modern table games in that it employs a mechanical device as the key element of the game. The chips are worthless at the other tables in the same casino, so do not bother trying to stack them under your blackjack chips or anything foolish like that. All roulette players place their bets. The French roulette wheel is divided into 37 slots, numbered 1 through 36, plus 0 There is no 00. The players who bet on the winning number or color are rewarded while the players who bet on the losing number(s) lose their chips to the casino. You may place roulette bets on the spin until the Dealer announces "No more bets". American and European roulettes have a wheel that is divided into numerous slots. The payoff odds for all bets are less than the odds of winning. In a casino, the person who spins the wheel is called a croupier.
